As men become older and more successful they just become even more eligible. Their hair and beard turns salt and peppery, they ooze wealth and style, and they're just generally a bigger fish to catch. As women get older and more successful, they're considered to be more undatable. Men wonder, "what's wrong with you? Why aren't you married yet?" Consequently every female over 30 with their own apartment, commas in their bank account, and a hankering for a decent boyfriend gets totally burned in ever relationship. Elder singles have been around the block a time or two, and with all this dating experience we have nothing to show for it except baggage and an ever growing collection of notches on the bedpost.
